Lee College Job Corps Scholars Grant Program
The Lee College Job Corps Scholars Grant Program would like to extend a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for current or former students. Students who think and/or may have expressed, that they may not be traditional college student and would consider other options such as trades that include a.) Welding b.) Pipefitting c.) Millwright, this may be the program for them.
The program will provide financial assistance through FAFSA for those eligible in addition to grant funding from the Department of Labor Job Corp Scholars Program. Students may expect to receive assistance with tuition and fees and other support services (see flyer below). This program is FREE to in-district and eligible students meeting all requirements.
Upon successful completion of the Semester long fast-track program the participants will be NCCER certified. Our Career Specialists will be working with students throughout the program to bolster job marketability and preparation. This will ensure they are gainfully employed upon completion of the program. PSAT/NMSQT
The PSAT/NMSQT is a comprehensive assessment that measures college readiness and provides students with the tools they need to start planning their future. Juniors who take the PSAT may qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships.
